because sender’s IP address is not very important.. correct me if i am wrong..

I purchased an SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com. It is ready to use. My site is not hosted by GoDaddy. I am downloading the certificate (4 files) so that I can upload it to my hosting site. It has been “resolving” for 30 minutes with 0% downloaded. I see the files moving from the internet to a folder. In other words, it looks like it is downloading except the status bar shows nothing. The site that is hosting my site said to upload it to their site, let them know, and they will install if for me. What should I do?

I have researched this site via bbb.org, mcafee site advisor, biz rate, white pages, etc. and have found very little information on it or any customer reviews / testimonials. The website seems to be safe and has a GeoTrust SSL certificate, but I still find it odd that when I google the contact info from the site, links from www.herballove.com appears. The layout of the site is slightly different but the “company profile” as well as other text seem to be EXACT to the wording from takeherb.com. I find it fishy that takeherb.com is linked to this other site that sells sexual products. Why would the company need 2 different sites? Is it just the same company that has a different website for its more discrete products? I would like to buy some organic herbs from take herb . com but am now skeptical on its legitimacy. I really would appreciate it if anyone could tell me more about this company and if its legitimate…or if they have ever purchased something from this online business.

Sorry if I sound a little paranoid, but with the economy lately, you never know. I don’t want to get scammed so any information you may have about this company would be great! Please help!

I have an internet sales business and a couple of months ago, I moved to a new hosting company. I paid for one year in advance and it took a few months to get my website ready. However, my hosting service has been having trouble installing the SSL certificate and the website has been down since.

It has been two months since they have been trying to install the certificate and despite numerous calls and emails, they keep giving me the runaround. The main problem is that I have already promoted the website through flyers in the mail in time for Christmas to hundreds of customers.

I am thinking about filing a suit to be compensated for time and money spent to make the website (this ecommerce site only works with this particular company) and loss of potential sales. As for the size of the suit, I am thinking about $10k-15k, depending on how much longer the website will be down. Can anyone think of any other way to resolve this? Should I sue?

setting up a ssl username and password on a wireless router?

I attended a college where you had a unsecured network for students to connect to, but you had to supply the college e-mail and password that was given to you once you connected. I need something as this. A wireless router that broadcast a signal for all employees that each employee must login to with there username and password unique to them. and accept a ssl certificate to the computer to use the wifi

I also want to have content on the page that comes up after you open your web browser that has the login area to describe what the company is and so on.

Can someone figure out why this site is giving a security warning?
I thought it was something like that.
here’s the response I got when I complained:

The certificate error is due to your computer being updated to a 7.0, cpol.army.mil is a secure website. You can call your internet provider to add cpol to your website or press continue and complete the resume and/or self nomination process.
